Just when you thought Eggplant Insanity was over - it gets more INSANE. Look at the size of this thing!!!!! It's huge. Believe it or not it's an eggplant from our garden. It's called a Black Beauty. The plant usually fruits every 10 to 14 days. They can grow up to 6 inches in diameter. They can weigh 1.5 pounds. One fruit can feed a family of four. Tonight we might have Eggplant Parmesan for dinner.

Glad you are back Bill....and that is a beauty. Have never seen one that big, I don't think. Next year try growing some white ones with your purple ones. That ought to make a pretty scene.
